Palm trees, however emblematic of Los Angeles, are not native to the region, they really don’t belong here.
Not all palm trees are tall and glamorous.
They grow in the harshest urban environment
… like big, heavy, annoying weeds
… that property owners have to chop down and turn into stumps.
