Vermont votes to impeach Bush.
Well sorta.
Some towns voted to push a non-binding resolution type thing, mostly symbolic, but hell it’s a good start.
Late Tuesday night, there were confirmed reports that 36 towns had backed impeachment resolutions, and the number was expected to rise.
In one town, Putney, the vote for impeachment was unanimous.
Vermont has proved itself to be more than just a pretty place to watch the leaves change colors.

Vermont has always been it’s own little slice of America. It’s the only state that not only has elected a socialist in recent years, but has re-elected him over and over and even promoted him into the Senate. Vermont was where Howard Dean governed for 8 years before leading the Democratic party out of the miasma of the early aughts.
But Vermont needs our back. They need other states to join in so the clowns in Congress will heed our wishes.
California should join the call.
One little state of less than a couple million will not sway the government. But if California, Washington, New York, and Massachusettes joins the chorus a tide will begin and pretty soon perhaps even the mainstream media might recognize the huge support impeachment would have.
Libby’s conviction yesterday is more proof that these lying scoundrels will stop at nothing to perserve their warped necon agenda of American hegemony for their corporate cronies while the poor in America continue to get screwed by their buddies in the credit industry and oil industry.

Impeach? Or not?
